Our group generally meets twice a month mainly in members’ homes and in the evening although we sometimes meet in the daytime.
Programmes are planned in advance and provide the opportunity to discuss interesting topics, exchange ideas and offer varying opinions; the conversation never dries up! Typical meetings could consist of a walk, lunch, a games afternoon, a research topic (for example, famous jewellery, local heroes), a quiz or a musical evening.
We also run a monthly coffee morning either locally or in members’ homes, as well as a book group.
