We are a friendly group aged mostly in our 60s to 80s who meet for informal discussions fortnightly on Tuesday afternoons and Thursday evenings.
We enjoy the lively, welcoming and supportive atmosphere of our group along with the stimulation of the discussion topics and meeting different people who are both interested and interesting.
Examples of recent discussion topics range from light-hearted topics so those that are more thought-provoking. Examples are abbeys and cathedrals, our plunging birth-rate, dreams and their meanings, women of courage and climate change.
We also enjoy getting together for quizzes, our new book club, Cuppa and Chat (C&C) friendship afternoons and bus outings as and when we have an excuse.
New members are most welcome to join us from the surrounding areas including Bramber, Upper Beeding, Ashurst and Partridge Green.
