Queens Park Heritage Walk: Foundations for the Future and Victorian Foresight
Queens Park, CW2 7SJ
11am – 1pm
To reflect on the words at the Park’s dedication: “A Park to provide pleasure and happiness to the community for generations to come.” Richard Moon, 1887.
Starting at the Taste for Life Café, the tour will include a brief history and consider Moon’s words from well over a century ago. The Victorian designers and engineers were also philanthropists and their foresight and the provision of Queen’s Park continues to provide an important green space for its visitors so many years later.
