It’s time to chase away those Winter blues and enter a team in the Area Quiz organised by Oakham Group
on Friday 4th April 2025 at 1.30p.m (Doors open from 1.00pm)
Oakham Bowling Club, Oakham (parking available on site)
The entry fee is £12 per team of 4
Tea/coffee and soft drinks will be served
In the spirit of NWR ‘Bring and Share’, we are asking each team to please bring a cake/few small cakes to be served with the refreshments.

Oakham is a charming picturesque town.
There are two large garden centres within a few miles of Oakham with very good cafes. There are plenty of pubs and cafes in Oakham for a light lunch.
There is a small museum in Oakham as well as the fabulous Oakham Castle, the most complete Norman Hall in the country with a huge collection of “horseshoes “ presented by visiting royalty and aristocrats. Both are open from 10am on Fridays.
You can also admire the Statue of Elizabeth 2, the first statue to be commissioned and erected after her death.
