The next NWR Welwyn meeting’s discussion topic will be travel and travel through the ages. As always, there will be plenty of time for a general chat after (and sometimes during!) the discussion topic.
In the Middle Ages it was for pilgrimages, now why do we travel? How has it evolved and how have our reasons for travelling changed? Do you like to travel? Why?
We will be meeting at 7.30pm in a pub local to the area. I always put the NWR blue fliers on the table so newcomers can identify us.
Here is a reminder of what we discussed at our last meeting: https://nwr.org.uk/news/all-about-breakfasts-2022-10-07/
As always, there is no obligation to speak, you are very welcome to listen. I will make sure that we have plenty of time, too, for a general chat so that we can get to know one another.
In terms of how long I will ask you to speak for, there is no minimum amount of time, but I ask that you take no longer than 5-10 minutes to ensure that everyone gets a chance to speak equally and no one feels that one person is monopolising the discussion.
