Our new NWR Ely group are welcoming new members!
Our friendly group is the perfect way to expand your social circle and make local friends.
Our meetings usually start with an informal ice-breaker topic so that we can get to know each other and there is plenty of time at the beginning and end of the session to chat in smaller groups. There is no obligation to contribute, just come along and be part of a friendly group.
We usually meet fortnightly on Wednesdays at 10:30 am in a public venue in a central location. We also meet for walks and outings and have a separate Book Club and Quizzers group, with more planned for the future.

6 May – Global Warming – do you think it will happen?
Watch NWR Patron, Clare Nasir, talking about climate change before the meeting – NWR It Shouldn’t Happen to a Weather Girl… The World of Meteorology, Climate Change and the Media with Clare Nasir
20 May – Group walk for NWR Walk/National Walking Month
Meet early 10:00 am at usual venue for a catch up chat and beverage before setting off on walk – route as discussed in the planning meeting. Or stay at venue for informal coffee morning if walking is not your thing!
3 June – Books – which are your favourites and which have stayed with you?
