We are a friendly group of women aged in our 60s and 70s, we’re retired but still remain busy and active! We enjoy meeting in each other’s houses (but there is no obligation to host) on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday evening of each month.
Our meetings are informal and consist of a discussion topic, but there is still plenty of time for chat. Examples of discussion topics are: Exciting railway journeys we have been on (included everything from childhood trips to the beach to Russia, Australia and the US); Famous walls; Women’s lives in the 60s; Women in science.
We also have an anniversary meal in March and a BBQ in July – where husbands/partners are invited.
