We are a friendly, informal and relaxed group mostly in our 60s through to our 80s who enjoy meeting up for discussions – our programme is very varied, often foody!
Our meetings take place in our homes (there is no obligation to host) fortnightly on varying weekdays in the afternoon, but we do sometimes meet in the evening if a speaker has been booked.
Examples of our discussion topics are:
– What period in history would you like to experience and why?
– Origins of tattoos and why so many people have them
– A place you would like to visit
We also have several additional social events including a BBQ (when partners/husbands are invited), a garden party, outings and a Christmas party (which also includes partners and husbands).
