We are a friendly, informal and welcoming group who meet for discussions and chat, with the occasional social outing or speaker. We follow a programme with is varied and stimulating, typical topics we might discuss are a comparison of daily newspapers, the town in which you were born, people who made the news in 1960 and repurposed buildings.
Our members are in their 60s and 70s and meet twice a month on the 1st and 3rd Thursday of the month in our homes, alternating between an morning and afternoon meeting.
There is no obligation to host if you can’t or don’t wish to.
