A Good Read returns in October with a stellar lineup

A Good Read returns on Saturday 3 October 2015 in the tiny county of Rutland at the Greetham Golf Hotel for day filled with literary stimulation and interactive workshops.

The day will begin with Dr Jane MacKay speaking about Elizabeth Gaskell’s fourth novel North and South and will be followed by NWR member Gaynor Arnold and author of Girl in a Blue Dress and After Such Kindness giving a talk on ‘Inventing the Past’.

After a delicious lunch you are free to take part in your chosen literary-based workshop. Try out a little play-acting or writing prose, learn the process of how to create a blog or go on a self-guided walking tour, all the while having great conversations about selected books!

Click here for more information and to download the application form and sign up before the 21 September deadline.

And – as always – keep the conversation alive in the NWR Booklovers forum.
