To celebrate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee, Beith NWR Group held a Jubilee Garden Party Lunch in group member Mavis’s lovely garden – hats and posh frocks were optional! Mavis made a delicious, and right royal, Coronation Chicken Pie for the main course, while everyone else brought a dish, or two, for the table. We toasted the Queen with some bubbles, played music from her Coronation plus popular hits from the 60s to the 90s – oh the memories! – and finished with a ‘Through the Decades’ quiz. The weather held wonderfully for us, and we all agreed how good it was to be in each other’s company again. Cheers, your Majesty!
