Kilbarchan group celebrated the 90th Birthday of our long standing member Angela. This was a first 90th birthday celebration for our group. Angela has been a very active member for over 42 years and we were delighted to celebrate with her. She has the true NWR lively and enquiring mind, has readily hosted and contributed much to meetings and discussions even conquering Zoom over the last few winters and during the pandemic.
In her speech Jenifer highlighted how fortunate we are to have such a strong inclusive group which embodies the whole NWR concept of friendship, conversation and fun. Irene was thanked for hosting and decorating her home. A delicious buffet provided by all the members was enjoyed along with glasses of fizz (both alcoholic and non-alcoholic).
