On Wednesday 22nd September seven of us met in the afternoon in the very pleasant surroundings of Gillian’s garden. The garden is large and rambling on a very difficult steep site going down to a woodland area at the bottom. Over many years Gillian and her husband have developed the garden, building winding pathways and planting areas that abound with interesting form and colour. This was the first of our afternoon meetings in this year’s programme and the first opportunity for a long time to get together and chat and catch up.
