May proved to be a busy month for us so we planned a walk as part of NWR’s Walking out for Women at the beginning of June. A small group of us drove out to the beautiful and tranquil Wyken Vineyard, near Bury St Edmunds, where Art for Cure had curated fantastic sculptures for display in the gardens. The weather was a bit damp but didn’t detract from the wonderful pieces of art masterfully positioned within nature.
The sculptures were for sale with a percentage of the proceeds going to the Art for Cure Charity funds for selected breast cancer research and grant funding to valuable support services affected by breast cancer throughout East Anglia.
We enjoyed lunch in the Leaping Hare restaurant at Wyken Vineyards after a wonderful walk enjoying the sculptures.
