We decided to treat ourselves to afternoon tea at the University of Cambridge’s Madingley Hall, for our final get together before the summer break.
On arrival at the beautiful Hall and gardens we were led up to one of the spacious and elegant Hall rooms. The tea was served with soothing light classical music in the background and the food was plentiful and delicious.
Good company, food and conversation followed by a stroll round the Capability Brown landscaped gardens. The perfect way to relax on a warm Sunday afternoon.
