Our annual garden party is held in July as a bring and share event where everyone is welcome. In the past we have had BBQ’s or food themes but we don’t just meet and eat we entertain ourselves with quizzes, garden games including tennis and croquet. We each bring what we want to drink and allow plenty of time to chat and mingle over the whole afternoon.
This year our LO Joan excelled herself with a game to get us moving round the garden looking for ‘Train Stations’ of all things…………. To complicated to explain here but I know she would be happy to share exactly how to if any other group fancies giving it a go. The picture below shows Barbara finding her very first Station while some of the gentleman go back to Joan for their next Station to find. Needless to say the lady’s found all theirs and got in first for Puddings!!

We had a wonderful afternoon – Fabulous Friends – Good Food – Great Entertainment what more could we ask of an NWR Event – Oh and the weather was kind which is always a bonus.
Beverley have a number of annual events to which we invite partners and friends who belong to some of our sub-groups i.e. Lunch Club, Book Group, Bridge and Wine Appreciation Group (WAGS) yes it gives this acronym a whole new meaning.
