Seven of us have just had an absorbing evening in the museum, hearing about the Roman Hoards there.
We were able to handle some of the coins and also two splendid Roman gold rings found in Sandbach and Alsager.
We heard about a growing collection of handsome clocks from Congleton clockmakers – who knew there were more than 30 clockmakers in our little town?
As with every time I spend time there, I know I will go again to explore more.
We are lucky to have this treasure.
