End of a Programme

We have come to the end of our last programme and enjoyed a variety of topics and activities.

We had previously enjoyed our ‘red’ theme so in March we chose ‘green’ and shared many different associations with this colour.

In April we brought along toys, games and memories from our childhoods and teddies were very popular!

In June we held our summer supper in a member’s home and garden and were able to be inside and out on this very sociable evening

In July we said a huge ‘thank you’ to Janet who had been our treasurer and chief ‘buyer’ for many years. During the evening we also watched the Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie film as part of our Channel Island topic evenings.

Our walking group has continued to enjoys walks around the Solent coast and up the Hamble which is one of our favourite walks.

Our Book Club has enjoyed a variety of genre including Val Mc Dermid novels, Lessons in Chemistry, Jane Austen and William Boyd.
