Hadleigh/Southend group headed to East London to walk ‘The Line’, an ambitious public art project that connects Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park and The O2, following the waterways and the line of the Greenwich Meridian. The outdoor exhibition programme gave us a most pleasant walk through a dynamic urban landscape to explore art, nature and heritage. After a very nice, albeit rather late, lunch at Cody Dock in the sunshine we headed home leaving the cable cars and O2 area of The Line for another day.
