A small group of us enjoyed the glorious weather today at West Green House gardens near Hartley Wintney. We began the day with coffee and delicious cake in the tea room and then had a leisurely stroll around the gardens. There is always something interesting to see here and today the wisteria were in full bloom, as you can see from the picture.

There were still tulips and bluebells, a few tree peonies were starting to flower, and the formal garden boasted several rows of delicious looking rhubarb prompting us to wonder what they do with it all!

No visit is complete without seeing the chickens in their upmarket accommodation and we made friends with some ducks on the lake who seemed very pleased to see us. We rounded off our day by enjoying our picnic lunch in the orchard.
