Beith group invited Kilbarchan to join them for a walk at a local RSPB Nature Reserve and Visitor’s Centre at Lochwinnoch in Renfrewshire. It was a beautiful day for bird watching and showed off the bird sanctuary and its surroundings at their best.
Susan, LO of Beith group is a volunteer there and was able to give us lots of information and help identify the different birdsongs. A boardwalk was recently constructed to the ruined Peel Tower that dates back to the 16th century.
