May is NWR walking month, and here in Sheffield we are blessed with easy access to some of the most beautiful countryside in the UK.
Earlier this week, some of our members enjoyed a leisurely walk around Dam Flask reservoir. The weather was sunny. though breezy, and the bluebells were absolutely gorgeous, as shown in the photograph below. They also had the opportunity to observe the ripple effect in the otherwise still waters of the reservoir. The walk was followed by a well-earned cup of tea and cake in a popular local tearoom; as a group, we’re fans of a good scone!
