Open choice of books!

We had a different kind of book group meeting on the 6th March. World Book Day!

The previous month we chose to read different books and also mentioned books which

we had enjoyed in the past

Each member gave a short description of their choice. We also discussed how books could be ‘found’ under the Book Crossing scheme. ‘Please Take me I’m free’. BookCrossing

The latest Book Fairies scheme. The Book Fairies – are hiding books worldwide

Books for children projects and the use of old telephone kiosks and road side boxes as mini libraries. The Radio two Podcast by Sarah Cox was recommended and in particular the book by Carole Hailey ‘The Silence Project’. The Radio Two Book Club has recently requested that people write in about their favourite book.
