On 19 September, a glorious warm sunny day the walking group were in the Wylye Valley where we visited the picturepostcard villages of Stockton and Sherrington. The latter has a church unusually dedicated to St Cosmas and St Damian and it’s interior contains a number of wall paintings of religious texts.
