“Using a Mystery Tour booklet, seven intrepid Shoreham members faced very gusty winds and rain on Brighton seafront to try and solve the hidden clues. We came across carvings and mosaic we never knew existed. We went down Quadrophenia Alley (from the film) which most of us, although passing it regularly, never knew of it’s existence. Here is a picture of us in the famous ‘Laines’ of Brighton, where most of the shops are independent and are a real treasure trove. Trust us to stand in front of this one – very Brighton! Do read the sign above our heads!
We solved nine of the sixteen clues and decided, as we were frozen and wet (the calendar said it was June) , to have a Part 2 of our adventure. Warmth, food and lots of chatter soon followed. Part 2 will be in August – any bets on the weather?!”
