Last month Rugeley NWR group invited members of the Lichfield group to attend the talk about Cannock Chase. We heard about the 1st world war camps and what is remaining of these on the chase which can be seen. We also heard about the recreated 1st world war hut which is now open to be seen at weekends at Marquis Drive, a beautiful area of the chase.. Volunteers are there in order to explain the artefacts. Members of the group also will lead walks to see remnants of the camps.
