Last Friday the Earley Group invited members from the Woodley Group to complete a self guided Treasure Trail around Henley in the late afternoon sunshine. These trails can be ordered online for many towns in Britain and take various forms involving detective work to solve clues around the town, while also providing some historical facts and giving the opportunity to see parts of the town that may be missed normally. The ten of us spent an enjoyable two hours solving the light hearted clues to solve a murder and then retired to the local Cote restaurant for a very nice meal. It was a very nice way to explore Henley and also to meet up with another group.
