Six members of the Hadleigh/Southend group held their Caribbean inspired evening this week and enjoyed a selection of Caribbean dishes, including Jerk chicken with a vegetarian version, a Caribbean salad and of course plenty of rum and raison in the desserts with a very pleasant passionfruit mousse alternative. The meal was followed by some interesting trivia regarding the Caribbean. A good evening of food, conversation and fun – the only thing absent was the tropical sunshine!
