Well, it was a very lively evening!
Controversies increased as the evening progressed, all in good spirit.
We were introduced to advances in science, their benefits and questions and conflicts for society.
We discussed the following topics:-
Age of the universe
Evolution
Animal experimentation
Glyphosate use
We were not discussing these subjects in detail, rather looking at why they have led to arguments, public concerns and debate.
We could have gone into any one topic in further depth. Plenty of scope for further meetings.
