Congresbury has had an NWR group in the village since 1981. We currently have 25 members with a healthy average attendance at most meetings of 12 – 15. We are a lively group of ladies who meet fortnightly in members’ homes.
At our 6 monthly planning meetings we aim for a balance of interesting topics to stretch our brains as we like to learn a thing or two. However, we want to also have some fun, so our programme often includes a visit, a walk, and sometimes a speaker. We jump at the chance to do something different and will be having a go at line dancing in August! There is a planned social event in each programme, a winter post-Christmas meal for members and a summer Safari Supper where partners are included. Find friendship and fun; join in our interesting discussions. We are always on the lookout for fresh ideas and welcome new members, so please do contact us.
All women interested in joining are made very welcome and allowed to attend two meetings free of charge before deciding to join NWR. Feel free to air your opinions and widen your horizons.
