Travelling by train, we will visit the Sylvia Pankhurst Centre, the birthplace of the Suffragette movement and home of Emmeline Pankhurst. After lunch we will have a guided tour of Elizabeth Gaskell’s house, a historic house and museum which celebrates the life of this important Victorian writer.
