We are a welcoming and friendly group in their 60s to 80s who meet monthly on weekday afternoons for informal discussions and a chat. We meet in our homes, but there is no obligation to host if you can’t or don’t want to.
Recent topics we’ve discussed include ‘Have you lived in another country or where would you choose?’, ‘Women who changed the world’ and ‘Shoes’. We also have a book group and enjoy going out for walks, lunches and visits. At Christmas we have a bring and share Christmas meal and a garden party in the summer.
Our members enjoy getting together and value the friendships we’ve made through NWR as well as the fun we have together.
