We are a friendly group aged mostly in our 60s through to our 90s who meet monthly for informal discussions. Our meetings always have a set topic, but we often stray from this and enjoy having a good chat!
Our meetings take place in our homes (there is no obligation to host) on the last Wednesday of the month in the evening (except in January and February when we meet in the afternoon).
We recently had a ‘hat evening’ where we covered many varied topics, such as euthanasia and the merits of an apprenticeship versus a degree.
In addition to our monthly meetings we also go on outings together. Our outings include trips to the ballet, a NGS open garden and a National Trust property. We also have a BBQ in the summer and Christmas Party.
