Chandlers Ford / Eastleigh ‘d’

Chandler’s Ford ‘D’ Group is a lively and supportive group with a membership of 18 and average attendance of 10-12. We may all add up a few years but our spirit is still as ‘connected’ as ever.
Our large membership has fluctuated over the years as members have moved away or found other commitments. During Covid we kept in touch through zoom meetings, and picnics when allowed. In the past we ran a separate Day Group, in addition to main meetings in the evenings; the two are now combined and offer a good mixture of topical meetings, daytime or evening, on different days of the week, usually at a member’s house. These include research and discussion themes, play-reading, craft or just a coffee, walks, visits and picnics. In addition we run a book club and organise 2 or 3 social meetings (with or without partners) for theatre visits, garden parties or dinners.
