We are a group of around 14 members spread around Exeter and the Exe estuary from Kenton to Exmouth. We are in our sixties and seventies, a friendly group and we welcome new members.
We have a full programme of meetings, two each month on a rolling Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday schedule, mainly afternoons. What we call a topic meeting, where we discuss current affairs or other issues, is alternated with a more social get together including our book group.
We meet mainly in each other’s homes with occasional outings for coffee and/or for walks and visits. Car-sharing for journeys to and from meetings is the norm.
We try to meet potential new members for coffee so that we can tell you more about the group and get to know each other a little.
