Park Gate is located between Fareham and Southampton in South Hampshire not far from the River Hamble. We currently have eighteen members and meet fortnightly on a Wednesday evening in our homes around the Park Gate, Burridge, Locks Heath, Warsash, Whiteley and west Fareham area.
We were established in 1982 and we still have some founder members in our group. We plan a varied programme of discussions, presentations and social events reflecting members’ interests and national organisation topics.
We also have an enthusiastic Walking Group who plan routes around our scenic area on a Monday afternoon and our Book Club set their own programme of varied fiction and non-fiction reading. They meet up about every six weeks on a Monday afternoon with themed refreshments.
