Our group meets about twice a month, mostly in the evenings but with some daytime events as well. We have about 18 members and most of us are aged 65 to 75 although we welcome members of all ages!
We have a varied programme of discussions on a range of topics, together with walks, outings, meals out and coffee mornings. Most meetings take place in members homes but there is no obligation on anyone to host a meeting. We hold a planning meeting twice a year to discuss our programme and everyone is invited to contribute ideas and to organise an event.
We are a lively, friendly group and we are actively looking for new members. We value the friendships that we have made through NWR and we often meet up with each other on occasions other than the planned meetings.
