Thornbury North is a fun-loving, friendly group of around 30 members with a full and varied programme of meetings (some with outside speakers), activities, visits and social events throughout the year. As a group we contribute to member led evenings and also participate in national regular events, for example the annual Telephone Treasure Trail and the Country Evening, making the most of our membership.
This last year we heard about ‘Tips for living in a sustainable Thornbury’, were inspired by our Zodiac sign personalities, shared our volunteering experiences and had a fun evening being taught ‘quick wins’ to arrange flowers. We have many topical discussions and generally have a very enjoyable and stimulating time. New members are always very welcome and long may the group continue to thrive!
