We had a perfect morning for a walk in the sun-dappled Lawton woods and it was a treat for the senses- the sight and scent of beautiful swathes of bluebells and wild garlic, the sound of birdsong , the thrilling glimpse of not one but two kingfishers flashing across the pond and of course the delicious post walk lunch . Partners came too.
