Grantham group had a fun evening talking about hats. We brought military hats, wedding hats, everyday hats, Steam Punk hats, berets and riding hats, to name a few. Hats in literature featured along with a picture quiz to guess the character – harder than it sounds! We discovered the difference between Milliners and Hatters, and where the expression ‘mad as a hatter’ came from. All in all a very enjoyable evening.
