For our Japan theme, eight of our group went to see a play set in Japan. The play was called “Flower, Bird, Wind, Moon” and was at Oran Mor’s “a Play, a Pie and a Pint” lunch time program. The play was excellent and was enjoyed by all. The following night was our regular meeting and we had a quiz, shared our knowledge and for some our experience of Japan. We also sampled some sushi and other Japanese foods. We discovered we knew more about Japan than we thought we did and we learned a bit more besides.
