Nine members of the group visited the Allerton Waste Re-processing Centre today – 10/7/19. This is a fairly new facility that caused a lot of controversy in the area before it was built. It takes produces electricity from the waste taken to the plant.
Our next meeting is Music & Society and as usual this will be whatever members make of the topic which always makes for an interesting meeting, our August meeting is a games night, all very lighthearted, but always includes ‘Pass the Bomb’ which is hilarious for those who haven’t played it.
