Eight members of Congleton NWR had a very enjoyable walk (more of a meander) around the Lovell Quinta Arboretum today.
Then six of us had a very pleasant lunch at the Swettenham Arms.
The weather was very kind to us and it was lovely to see the sunshine on the fresh green leaves of the trees.
We followed the Red Route from the Tatton Garden Society (which now maintains the arboretum) and endeavoured to pick out the trees which were listed of note.
