Yesterday we held our annual summer lunch for members and husbands, which almost everyone was able to attend. After some heavy rain showers in the morning, the weather settled and we had almost perfect weather for the afternoon – lovely and warm, with a mixture of cloud and sun. The ladies excelled themselves as always with exceptionally delicious food. Close friends, happy chatter and a wonderful lunch, sitting in the garden with proper English summer weather – what more could you ask for?
