Ackworth group recently enjoyed afternoon tea with a difference. Prior to the afternoon everyone provided a sample of tea which as individuals they enjoy. Linda, who hosted, devised a grid giving a description of the tea for ‘blind’ tasting whereby we could try to identify and also grade according to our own taste. We were able to make acquaintance with spicy chai, iced tea, lavender, licorice and various black teas. Everyone was able to identify the tea they had contributed! Of course the teas were helped along with some very tasty cakes and biscuits.
