Our team of quizzers, Jo, Kate, Gwyn, Karen, Sue A and Hilary, pulled off a stunning success on Friday 13th June, beating many-times winners Luton and South Beds villages by one point in the annual Area Quiz. As is usually the case, our choice of joker round – Connections (Elton John songs) where we scored 100% – clinched it.
We have offered to host the quiz in Leighton Buzzard next year.
