We’re a friendly, lively, busy and welcoming group of almost 50 members. Our monthly discussion meetings are held on different days from Monday to Thursday in the afternoons and evenings at members’ homes. We have fortnightly coffee mornings, monthly lunches, an art appreciation group, a walking group, three book groups, a more informal group called Bookends, and a Canasta group. Wehave a pub quiz team which plays weekly. We organise trips on an ad hoc basis. In the past year, we have visited The Speaker’s House and the Vogue on the Catwalk exhibition to name but two, and have arranged walking holidays and a trip to the Channel Islands. Our art appreciation also arranges trips to exhibitions several times a year. New members and new ideas are always welcome, so come along and give us a try before deciding if you’d like to join us.
