We’re a friendly, lively, busy and welcoming group of more than 40. Our monthly discussion meetings are held on different days from Monday to Thursday in the afternoons and evenings at members’ homes. We have fortnightly coffee mornings, monthly lunches, an art appreciation group, three book groups, a more informal one called Bookends, and a Canasta group. As well as a weekly pub quiz we’ve re-introduced Scrabble. Outings are organised to places of interest, cinema, theatre etc, and in the spring and summer of 2023 there will be three canal boat trips plus croquet sessions. New members and new ideas are always welcome, so come along and give us a try before deciding if you’d like to join us.
