Two new competitions for the green fingers out there!

The time has come for more competitions! NWR members love competitions and many of you relish the leisure and joy of gardening, or simply, contemplating and appreciating nature whilst rambling in our great country’s green spaces.

Our next two competitions are inspired by the Year of the English Garden 2016. If indeed you have a green finger, then you will love the Create a Miniature Garden Competition. And, if painting turns your crank, then the ‘Inspired Landscape’ Amateur Painting Competition is for you! You’re of course free to enter both.

To get you in the right zone, have a read of NWR Sittingbourne member (and winner of the Short Story Competition 2015) Jill Sidders’ blog post Year of the English Garden where she enlightens us with an historical background of the English garden.

We look forward to seeing your creations!
