USA THEME
Our hostess Maureen brought the USA theme to life decorating her home with Stars and Stripes bunting, balloons. We heard and discussed interesting facts unearthed by the group members, and tested our knowledge with a light hearted quiz .. We sung along to a recording of What did Delaware boys? Here are the first two verses, be warned earworms can occur.

After all the singing we were ready to tuck into an amazing buffet, including a special salad created by Linda and other various savouries. To round off the feast cake baked by Ann decorated with the US flag Stars and Strips it’s design created from a selection of soft fruits.
A lovely evening enjoyed by all.
