Five of the Earley group decided to do a walk round the Farnham Sculpture Trail last week. After a fairly eventful journey including traffic jams, road works, closed roads and several different versions from Google maps how to get there we did eventually arrive. We found a very tranquil setting, full of sculptures right from the beginning. We followed most of the trails which were colour coded and absolutely packed with sculptures of all shapes and materials but gave up to go and have lunch in the pub opposite. As this took longer than anticipated we decided we didn’t have enough time to return but having seen about 600 of the 800 sculptures we felt we had done very well. This was a really lovely outing and we all enjoyed it very much.
